Deborah Edmondson, owner of Gazelle Communications Group, has over 20
years of marketing experience. Her career includes marketing managerial
positions with major corporations such as JC Penney, Johnson Publishing Company
and Essence Communications; and she has consulted with several corporations in
Asia and Africa desiring to open in the US market.
The firm's initial focus, when it began in 1995, was small business
development. Today Gazelle Communications Group is a multi-service agency
focusing on creative integrated marketing concepts for new and small
businesses. Clients have included the Native Island Business & Community
Affairs Association, Hilton Head Island Chamber of Commerce, Companions, Nurses
and Nannies and Coastal Cardiovascular Clinic, to name a few. Gazelle
Communications Group meets the needs of small businesses and organizations
looking to increase market share.
Carolyn Grant , owner of CG Communications, has been in the field of
communications for 19 years. Her background includes journalism, marketing,
public relations, grant writing, speech writing and event planning. She has
combined her experience as a professional journalist for a local newspaper and
her experience in marketing and public and community relations to offer a range
of professional services for clients. Clients have included Abe's Native Shrimp
House, Terry Grant Enterprises, the Hilton Head-Bluffton NAACP, Professional
Elite, the Native Island Business and Community Affairs Association, the Fast
Lane Track Club and Hilton Head Public Service District #1. She has provided
free-lance articles for Hilton Head Monthly Magazine, Minority Golf Magazine
and The Island Packet newspaper. She has done considerable pro bono work for
local organizations that needed assistance with public relations, marketing,
grant writing and other communication services. The basic philosophy of CG
Communications is to develop effective and creative communications to support
marketing and public relations strategies.
